Revitalise Escapes - remember what it means to be well.

A wellness holiday can make a difference. You not only have the chance to escape from the stresses of daily life, but can stimulate your mind in a beautiful location and learn healthier habits. It's a great chance to not just relax, but also to improve your physical and emotional wellbeing. A wellness holiday is the chance to embrace the opportunity where self-care and exercise is not a chore, but a fun experience where you can make the most of the beautiful surroundings.

What is Transformation Travel?

Transformational Travel Council Co-Founder and Chairman, Jake Haupert, defines it as: 'Any travel experience that empowers people to make meaningful, lasting changes in their life. Ultimately, it’s a new philosophy on travel that connects travellers to their truest self and to others, cultivating a sense of purpose and belonging.’

Our Sustainability practices
At Revitalise Escapes, we believe in the regenerative power of travel and the importance of preserving the natural beauty of the regions we operate in. We hold great reverence for the environment and are dedicated to running a sustainable business that covers the three pillars of sustainability: environmental, economic, and social responsibility. As a local business, we strive to embody our sustainable principles through every action we take.

About our Sustainability practices

We have always assessed how sustainable our business practices are, and changed things along the way to constantly improve with any new initiatives or better practices. We see this as a vital part of our business’s growth and responsibility. We have many existing processes in place as a sustainable business.

Environmental Practices

Our tours encourage the principles ‘Refuse, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle’.

  • Low Carbon footprint – Our bottom-line environmental practice is our company’s low carbon footprint with regard to transport. On most occasions we use leg power instead of vehicles to explore our beautiful region. On our nature walks, daily activities and sessions we talk about the indigenous culture, flora and fauna and the land is left untouched - all that is taken are photos of their experiences.

  • Reusable water bottles – our staff and guests are provided with reusable water bottles to reduce the amount of plastic waste on our tours.

  • Small Print Runs – We are conservative with regard to printed material. Where possible, we make online brochures and when needed we print small runs of marketing material in order to reduce wastage and we use local printers to reduce our/their carbon footprint.

  • Sustainable inks and papers – all of our marketing materials use sustainable ink and paper.

  • Recycling –Our tours and offices all have recyclable bins and options available.

Social and Economic Responsibility

As a small local business, believe it is highly important to collaborate and support each other.  At present we utilise the products and services of 22 local businesses in our tours and retreats. We also focus on sharing our sustainability values with our clients and fellow business operators.  We also run programs and initiatives with local businesses to help promote and support each other.  We also offer volunteer positions in our business that provide the opportunity for people interested in the wellness and tourism sectors to experience it first hand.

Acknowledgement of Country

We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our tours run on, the Wadawurrung People of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to their Elders past, to Elders present and to emerging leaders, recognising their continuing connection to land, water, culture and community.
