By participating in a Revitalise Escapes journey, you acknowledge that in addition to usual risks inherent, certain additional risks may be encountered which may include: remoteness to normal medical services; physical exertion to which the participant may not be prepared; weather extremes subject to sudden and unexpected change; evacuation if the participant is injured. In case of injury or illness, you authorise the activity supplier leader in charge to obtain any medical attention deemed appropriate, including ambulances and you agree to accept responsibility for any costs incurred.

 

You further acknowledge and agree that due to the nature of the activities, it would be unreasonable for Revitalise Escapes to be in any way responsible for any injury to or death of yourself and you hereby, to the full extent permitted by law, waive all of your legal rights of action against Revitalise Escapes and fully release and hold Revitalise Escapes harmless from any claim, demand or liability for any loss, damage, expense or injury (including death) howsoever arising out of or in relation to your participation in the activities conducted or organised by Revitalise Escapes, including without limitation, liability for any negligent or tortious act or omission, breach of duty, breach of contract or breach of statutory duty on the part of Revitalise Escapes, including employees or contractors.

 

You further acknowledge and agree that you undertake the activities freely, voluntarily and absolutely at your own risk and with a full appreciation of the nature and extent of all risks involved in the activities. This waiver shall bind you and your heirs, assigns, executors and/or administrators and legal representatives. In order to preserve your own and other’s safety, if you do not comply with the booking conditions, act in a way that neglects group safety or wilfully damages the environment or cultural sites, you may be asked to leave the tour or refused entry to the tour at your own expense.
 

Travel Insurance

Revitalise Escapes strongly advises guests to take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances, such as cancellation, not including Government lockdown's due to pandemic or other reasons, injury, illness or anything else related tour.

Guest Information Form

If you are on a tour you are required to complete a Guest Information Form, as supplied by Revitalise Escapes, prior to departure. In the Revitalise Escapes you will disclose all injuries, impairments or illnesses and required medication(s). Revitalise Escapes reserve the right to restrict participation if risk of harm is deemed inappropriate.   

If you are apart of a Corporate Group Retreat, the organiser is required to provide details of any injuries, iillness or medication requirements of their team and any dietary or accessability requirements to Revitalise Escapes.


Booking & Deposits

To secure your position on a Revitalise Escapes journey, a non-refundable deposit of an amount specified on the ‘Booking Form’ is required. The total fee is required 21 days prior to departure. No refunds will be provided if you cancel within 2 weeks of departure. All deposits and fees are transferable with prior approval from Revitalise Escapes if 60 days notice is given. See cancellation details on booking contract.


Cancellation or Postponed Journey

Revitalise Escapes reserve the right to cancel or postpone a journey if 1) There are extreme weather warnings issued or forecast for Glamping tour, 2) A minimum group size is not met, 3) Government restrictions due to a global pandemic, 4) Prior to departure, in the event a journey is cancelled and alternative dates cannot be agreed, Revitalise Escapes will provide a refund in full. Revitalise Escapes is not liable for any expense incurred travelling to or from the cancelled journey.  Travel Insurance is highly recommended.


Privacy Policy

We recognise the trust you are placing in us by providing your personal details and we are committed to the protection of your personal information. This policy applies to and is adopted by our employees, related entities and associated companies and contractors which are subject to the Privacy Act 1988.
